Santa's Arrival

Santa Claus came to Fairfield in the traditional manner -- on a fire engine -- and Sherman Green was crowded with kids waiting to see him. This year saw the return of the horse and buggy rides, along with a regular cast of face painters, carolers and a good two dozen community groups selling all sorts of gifts, wreaths and holiday-ish foods. Frosty and Rudolf hammed it up, but of course Santa was the center of attention. |
