The Fairfield Arts Council (FAC) is a not-for-profit organization established to foster cultural development and increase public support for the arts in Fairfield. Initiatives include providing an online comprehensive calendar of arts events in Fairfield and its surrounding communities, advocating for local arts organizations and individual artists, and establishing arts programs for students and underserved members of the community. In addition, FAC hosts the highly acclaimed Artist of the Year event, a Fairfield tradition.
FAC invites you to browse our online events calendar, which lists art, music, theatre, and cultural events held in Fairfield, Bridgeport, Easton, Southport, Trumbull, Weston, and Westport. Please visit www.fairfieldartscouncil.org for more information on the organization, or to find out how to become a member. Not-for-profit members will have their arts events listed on our online calendar, and business sponsors will be listed on our web site's "Business Sponsors Spotlight" section. All members will receive prominent listing on the FAC web site, and in FAC newsletters and events programs. Finally, members will know that they are playing a vital role in developing a vibrant community where the arts are valued.
