Design One LLC is an architectural design firm with offices here in Fairfield, CT. Our areas of specialty include residential architectural design and commercial interior design / space planning. The founder and president of Design One is Michael Armstrong ASID. Michael is a professional member of the American Society of Interior Designers and has practiced within the architectural field since 1985. Design One was formed in 2002.

Whether you are renovating your current home or adding on to it through new construction, getting it right the first time is critical to the success of the project. Our strength is in our ability to listen to a client's needs and to custom tailor a design solution that will fulfill both functional and aesthetic requirements. This can only be achieved by maintaining senior level involvement from project initiation through the construction process. Michael is hands-on throughout the design process which is a key element to success. It is this belief in the "vertical" approach to design that enables us to provide highly personalized service and ensure complete satisfaction on each commission we accept. This design philosophy is what differentiates us from others and is the basis that the company was founded on.
