David Lerner Associates, Inc.

David Lerner was a high school teacher in Queens, NY before he founded our company nearly 30 years ago, and the firm's success is still based on the importance of explaining investment options to our clients and using sound strategies for the long term. We believe in taking the time to help people thoroughly understand how different investments can work to grow their nest egg or generate income in retirement. We want our clients to sleep well at night.
I was born in Fairfield, graduated from Fairfield High School and then earned a BS in Finance from West Virginia University. After college, I moved to San Diego where I developed a solid understanding of many areas of financial services as a banker and corporate trainer for Wells Fargo Bank. It was there that I met my wife Bridget. We moved home to Fairfield in 2001. I also proudly serve on the board of directors of the Fairfield Chamber of Commerce.
As for why I love being an Investment Counselor for David Lerner Associates, it's because I have the opportunity to help people meet their financial goals. First, I use a form called a Suitability Profile to establish what your current financial picture looks like. Then, after determining your financial goals and risk tolerance, I make my recommendations for meeting those goals. We strive to create what we believe is the most predictable path possible for solid financial growth.
In these days of internet investing and help desk advice, I will work with you in person, one-on-one in your home or office. And after your initial investment I will continue to be your personal Investment Counselor for the long term. If you have a question, you and I will discuss it personally. You will not be directed to a help desk halfway around the world. My goal is to help you feel comfortable and informed.
