Web News: Meet the 'New' ChamberWorks

As promised, the printed newsletter has departed these offices for a well-deserved retirement, after many years spent slaving over a hot photocopier. Allow us then to introduce the all-new, web-only incarnation of ChamberWorks. Which, of course, isn't new at all.

Indeed, long time visitors to this web site will know that "ChamberWorks: The Online Edition" has been toiling away in relative obscurity for many years. But now the torch has been passed to a new generation. ChamberWorks is dead, long live ChamberWorks!

So from this day forward, look to FairfieldCTChamber.com for the latest happenings, noteworthiest news and upcomingest events. It's the same old ChamberWorks you know and love, minus the messy paper and ink stuff. Just try not to get fingerprints on the monitor when you're turning the pages.

Business Showcase Does It Again

Close to 3,000 visitors passed through the doors of Sacred Heart University's William Pitt Center for the 2004 Business Showcase. As in past years, the Fairfield Chamber participated and helped promote the May 12 business-to-business event. With a dozen new seminars and a keynote speech from best selling author Jack Mitchell of Mitchell's/Richards, it was by far the biggest and best networking event in our area.
