The Fairfield Chamber and Nicholas H. Fingelly Real Estate present the 31st Annual Visual Improvement Program Awards.
The late Nicholas H. Fingelly started the program in 1977 to recognize business or property owners who have improved the visual look of their properties during the previous calendar year. The food and beverages, the view of the harbor, and especially the mingling of friends -- all of it makes for a really special get-together. And, it's free! So come join us as we thank the folks who have made our town look that much better.

Business Showcase

9:00 am to 6:00 pm at the Pitt Center, Sacred Heart University.
Fairfield County's biggest one-day "business to business" event returns to the Sacred Heart campus. Meet exhibitors from more than 180 area businesses, attend seminars, and network with fellow business people at a Business After Hours. As always, admission is free. But you can pre-register at www.biz-showcase.com.
The show opens at 9 am with keynote speaker Eric S Groves, a senior vice president with Constant Contact. The "Taste of the Showcase" business after hours event begins at 4 pm, with food provided by many of the region's finest restaurants, bakeries and caterers.
This year's Showcase features four educational roundtable seminars:
- How to Navigate a Multigenerational Workforce
- Connecticut's Competitive Edge: Beyond the Numbers of the Economy
- Thinking Green in Your Business
- Meet the Media
Cost for exhibitor booths is $525-900 for Chamber members, $740-1295 for non-members. Premium booths are 10-20% extra. Electricity and additional booth furnishings are available at extra cost. A $200 setup/breakdown liability fee is required. Free wireless internet access is available (wireless card required).

May Business After Hours

Network with fellow business people in a casual setting. The member rate is $10; walk-in rate (no reservation) is $15. The non-member rate is $40.
A prospective member attending as the guest of a member gets in for free (one time only).
